3.42 kWp Solar PV Installation; Heswall, Wirral
This system was for a retired family looking to compliment their existing solar thermal flat plate collectors with a solar pv system, we designed the optimum system using the remaining roof space, but retaining a symmetrical look, we proposed various different roof layouts and provided drawings to aid in visualising what they would look like, the final design consisted of:

• 18 x Suntech STP190S-24/Ad+  Photovoltaic Modules
• 1 x SMA Sunny Boy 3300 Inverter
• Schuco Mounting rail system

Prior to taking receipt of the modules we received the Flash Testing reports which had excellent reports, Suntech modules have a power tolerance of -0/+5 % and the results of these modules were giving the performance of around half the modules operating at 195/196 Wp.

The installation also included minor alterations to the existing A/C circuits so that the installation could be signed off for Part P under current 17th edition regulations.
